Wow what a brilliant weekend, the festival was amazing, so much to see and do, a real must for all foodies!!

September 18th, 2011Another busy weekend here at the Salmons. Our congratulations again to our Bride and Groom from Friday’s wedding here, Dale and Mo Nelson. Also wish to pass on all our thanks to those of you who came down and supported our Chef, James Bumpass at the Abergavenny Food Festival yesterday. For those of you who missed it, we have the sweet pickled mackerel that James was demonstrating on our current menu.

The food festival is almost upon too and I look forward to demonstarting one of our signature dishes to you all at 11am on saturday 17th.

June 20th, 2011As the weekend draws near, we at the three salmons are playing are part in welcoming all the visitors to the town. Our garden will be host to a hog roast with trimmings and a pimms tent, soft drinks are available. The same quality offerings will of course be available inside.

Usk Open Gardens 2011
June 20th, 2011The gardens of the town of Usk will be opened to visitors this weekend of the 25th & 26th of June 2011, to raise money for local charities and good causes. This is the event’s 17th year and the organisers are hoping for a bumper weekend. Let’s hope the weather holds out. Hope to see you there!

New Season Menu
April 23rd, 2011Today sees the launch of our new look, new feel lunch menu to complement this amazing weather we are enjoying. You can now enjoy lighter snacks and new season produce cooked by my experienced brigade, calves liver, rump of welsh lamb, hake and purple sprouting all make a welcome appearance letting us know that summer is certainly on its way.
