Abbergavenny Food Festival

Wow what a brilliant weekend, the festival was amazing, so much to see and do, a real must for all foodies!!
Huge thanks for all those who came to support me at our demonstration, and hope you enjoyed the tasters, the recipe cards are still available at reception, and the sweet pickled mackeral is also available on the menu, but hurry its nearly out of season.

Another busy weekend here at the Salmons. Our congratulations again to our Bride and Groom from Friday’s wedding here, Dale and Mo Nelson. Also wish to pass on all our thanks to those of you who came down and supported our Chef, James Bumpass at the Abergavenny Food Festival yesterday. For those of you who missed it, we have the sweet pickled mackerel that James was demonstrating on our current menu.

As the season are changing, so is our menu, with new season dishes filtering in along with the end of summer produce.
The food festival is almost upon too and I look forward to demonstarting one of our signature dishes to you all at 11am on saturday 17th.
